COLUMBUS, Ohio - With time running out - in one of their most luckless rinks yet - the Calgary Flames rallied Saturday night, rustling up two goals to force overtime against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Calgary Flames' Jamie Lundmark (45) celebrates after scoring a goal with Daymond Langkow (C) and Olli Jokinen (R) against the Columbus Blue Jackets' during a shootout in their NHL hockey game in Columbus, Ohio, November 28, 2009.

The Flames then went on to bag a 4-3 shootout victory in National Hockey League action at Nationwide Arena. Jamie Lundmark, the Flames' fourth shooter, scored to seal the win.

"We were confident," Flames centre Olli Jokinen said after the squad ended its four-game losing streak at Nationwide Arena, improving its all-time record in Ohio to 5-12-1. "The coaching staff was confident that, if we could get back to the way we played in the first period, we could win the game. That was the message.

"We came back hard in the third, you know. We had chances. It was a good comeback win. Big two points. Maybe we got a little bit lucky there, but you need luck."

The Flames have lost only one road game in regulation time this season, 2-1 against the Blue Jackets on Oct. 13.

For Lundmark, the shootout goal was a measure redemption, after being chided by the Flames coaching staff for poor defensive work in the Flames' 3-0 win over Detroit on Friday.

"They've been patient, with me coming back (to the NHL)," said Lundmark, who's spent the bulk of the season with the Flames' AHL affiliate in Abbotsford, B.C. "Obviously, the timing is different playing up here than down there. It might take a couple games to get back. I'm feeling pretty good right now. I think I can be better. I'm starting to feel really good out there."

Trailing 3-1 late in the third period, the Flames struck twice in a 1:19 span to tie the game.

Forward Dustin Boyd scored with 5:47 left in the third period, before forward Nigel Dawes counted.

The Flames are 9-1-3 on the road now, and continue their six-game road trip Monday in Nashville.

Down 1-0, the Blue Jackets received second-period goals from Rick Nash (13:20, on a power play), Marc Methot (14:23) and Jared Boll (19:33) to take temporary control of the game.

Cashing in a rebound on a point shot from Flames defenceman Jay Bouwmeester, Jokinen scored a power-play goal at 5:29 of the second period.

I SWEAR TO GOD i have never seen such blatant ( and unpenalized) running of a goalie in all the years ive watched hockey. The league needs to review this game, several columbus players should be suspsended and the the frachise fined

I am deciding on buying a PS3. I want to have Playstation 2 games on it as well. Can someone tell me what PS3 supports PS2 gaming?

I am simply curious what technilogical improvements/advances were made to playstation 2 that is justifying this rush on finding PS3s. Is it just that they are made for high def TVs like xbox 360? This curious mind just wants to know!

I've heard that the Playstation 3 systems that are now in production have no backwards compatibility with the original Playstation and Playstation 2 games. I've also heard you can install software to add backwards compatibility, and then I've heard others refute that statement. What is the real deal here?
