Vigneault's post-game assessment that could have used a few cough drops.
"I'm not sure why they're having trouble scoring. He works so hard and gets pucks and keeps it on his stick and shoots from everywhere."
Schneider on leading Wild scorer Zach Parise, who finished with a game-high eight shots.
"Jordan has waited for this a long time and told me his dad bought a box, so I better play him. I guess they spent a lot of money on tickets, but he deserves to be in our lineup."
Vigneault on former high-school and University of Minnesota star Jordan Schroeder, who finished with four shots in 13: 32 of ice time.
