Final update: The Pittsburgh Penguis beat the Montreal Canadians with a goal by Brandon Sutter less than a minute into overtime, winning 7-6.

Third update: The Montreal Canadiens and Pittsburgh Penguins finished the third period in another tie, ending regulation play 6-6. Third-period scoring for the Habs by David Desharnais and Brian Gionta; for the Penguins by Chris Kunitz and Sidney Crosby.

Second update: The Canadiens and Penguins go into the third period tied 4-4. Goals scored in the second period for the Canadiens by: Max Pacioretty, Brian Gionta and P.K. Subban. Goals scored by Pittsburgh by: one by Chris Kunitz and two by Matt Cooke.

First update: At the end of the first period, the Habs and Pens are tied 1-1, with goals scored by Montreal Canadien Brandan Prust and Pittsburgh Penguin Brandon Sutter.

Saturday's game at the Bell Centre should be a hot ticket.

Scalpers will be smiling because unless your Montreal Canadiens face Pittsburgh in the playoffs - and remember how much fun that was three years ago? - the game will be Montrealers' only chance to see the great Sidney Crosby this season.

The Penguins are the only Eastern Conference team the Canadiens have not faced through their first 20 games.

And after the Saturday meeting, the other two regular-season games between the teams will be played in Pittsburgh.

Michel Therrien's first game against the team that fired him four years ago tees off a weekend back-to-back that will match the Canadiens against two conference powerhouses. ...
