Oilers scratch Fistric for tonight's tilt with Avs
Potter takes his place on blueline, Hartikainen draws in for Hordichuk on forward ranks
EDMONTON - Defenceman Mark Fistric and forward Darcy Hordichuk, who both played in Saturday night's loss to the Calgary Flames, are both scratches for tonight's Edmonton Oilers clash with the division rival Colorado Avalanche.
Drawing into the lineup will be defenceman Corey Potter, who will join Ryan Whitney on the Oilers' third defensive pairing, and forward Teemu Hartinkainen.
Fistric, an Edmonton native and a former captain of the WHL's Vancouver Giants, was acquired by the Oilers during training camp in a trade with the Dallas Stars.
More to come.
