BEST REPORT

A communications rep for the Southsiders, the Whitecaps fan club, got turfed for doing something foreign in Rogers Arena, standing and cheering. Well, the supporter group said he was actually asking security when it would be OK to stand up and cheer when he got the boot.

Security came down on the group, and apparently told them only those in the back row of the upper level could stand. Shhhhh.

BEST CONCERN

Kevin Bieksa took a Mike Rupp hit with his knee hyperextended. "Just before I got hit, it felt like I hit a rut and my knee was all twisted. It felt really awkward," Bieksa said. "It was a scary couple of minutes. I should be all right."

Did he feel anything after that?

"It should be all right. I feel great, guys."

BEST MYSTERY

Manny Malhotra missed the game, leading to all kinds of wild speculation about what’s going on. The Canucks would only say this will be resolved quickly.

BEST NICKNAME

"Crackpot"

— For Matt Kassian, who trademarked the name "Kassassin." Seriously. His legal camp even threatens legal action against those who use it for Zack Kassian. Must be worth, what? Tens of dollars in T-shirt sales?

BEST QUOTE

"I’ll be pissed."

— Daniel Sedin when asked how he’ll feel when his brother becomes the Canucks’ all-time points leader.

BEST SIGN

"I came from Toronto to watch the Canucks"

Are the Kings done?

No way, just a bump in the road.
Yes, it is over for them.
Don't know.
