Back from the all-star break, the Vancouver Canucks won’t catch a break when they open a six-game homestead Tuesday. Kevin Bieksa’s broken left hand is bad enough — the blueliner was struck on the left wrist by a Victor Hedman shot last Tuesday in Tampa Bay and required surgery to repair several fractures — and now the league-leading Anaheim Ducks strut into town.
