Twenty long minutes into his press conference, Vancouver general manager Mike Gillis leaned back in his chair, looked up at the Rogers Arena duct work, and heaved a big sigh. If there was ever somewhere he didn’t want be, this was it — the Norm Jewison Media Room where he was cornered, answering questions orbiting one central theme.
