Silvertips shut out Giants
Joshua Winquist had three goals and an assist and Daniel Cotton made 31 saves Sunday as the Everett Silvertips shut out the Vancouver Giants 4-0 in the Western Hockey League. Mirco Mueller had the other goal for Everett (20-26-2), while Manraj Hayer chipped in with three assists. Payton Lee made 18 saves in taking the loss for Vancouver (12-36-0).
