Oilers rookies reported to Rexall Place Thursday morning for the kickoff of rookie training camp — Connor McDavid included.

The highly anticipated 2015-16 NHL season is here.

That means it’s time for the Edmonton Journal’s sports department to launch a new season of its Oilers podcast.

Tune in to hear hockey reporters Joanne Ireland and Jim Matheson discuss the rookie camp roster with sports editor Sarah O’Donnell.

They look at what’s on the line for prospects in this weekend’s Young Stars tournament in Penticton, B.C., and what’s makes this year’s event stand out from previous iterations. (Hint: His initials are C.M.)
