"We looked at the replay (and Tanner Glass) said, 'I really pushed it in.' We're like, 'They're going to change it in a couple of minutes and they're going to start booing and we're going to have a good laugh about it.' Sure enough, two minutes later, they announced it and you saw the reaction of the fans. It was pretty funny."

-- Alex Burrows on the Canucks' third goal ,which was originally credited to Kyle Wellwood.

BEST SEQUENCE

Roberto Luongo, on Kyle Wellwood's goal: "Oh, my God, that was such a laser. The goalie had no chance."

Reporter: "There was no goalie."

Luongo: "Still, there was someone in front of the net."

BEST TOTEM POLL

Four times Dustin Brown absolutely undressed Alex Edler on his way to some stellar scoring chances. If this were New York and Edler was a Red Sox, the chant would have been: 'Who's your daddy, (Edler)? Yeah, it's Brown.'

BEST THEORY

Making the rounds: Vancouver's power play was better without Daniel Sedin, the team's best goal-scorer. The Canucks' power play hasn't been higher than 15th since the lockout. Thursday, they ranked fourth. The theory is, with both Sedins on the ice there's too much passing, not enough shooting.
