Raleigh, NC (SportsNetwork.com) - The Carolina Hurricanes have agreed to terms with center Ben Holmstrom on a one-year, two-way contract.

Holmstrom will earn $600,000 in the NHL or $200,000 in the American Hockey League for the 2014-15 season.

The 27-year-old Colorado native spent his first five pro seasons with the Flyers' organization, appearing in seven games for Philadelphia over the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons. He has yet to record a point at the NHL level.

In 256 games for the AHL's Phantoms, Holmstrom has 49 goals and 73 assists for 122 points.

I am baffled by all the choices and the different channels
My team is blacked out sometimes
No worries, I have NHL Centre Ice
Doesn't matter, my team sucks
