Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Philadelphia Flyers left wing Scott Hartnell is sidelined with a left foot injury.

Hartnell was hurt during Tuesday's game against New Jersey after being hit in the foot by a shot. He will miss Thursday's game against the New York Rangers and could be out longer, as general manager Paul Holmgren said he would be sidelined indefinitely.

In three games this season, Hartnell has one assist and 13 penalty minutes.
