Anaheim, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Anaheim Ducks signed unrestricted free agent forward Dany Heatley to a one-year contract Wednesday.

Under diminishing ice time, Heatley totaled 12 goals and 16 assists over 76 regular-season games for the Minnesota Wild last season, adding one goal and five assists in 11 postseason appearances. His minus-18 rating was the lowest of his career since a minus-19 during his rookie season with the Thrashers.

A two-time 50-goal scorer with the Senators and four-time 40-goal player, Heatley has accumulated 372 goals and 791 points in 863 contests for Atlanta, Ottawa, San Jose and Minnesota since 2001.
