Buffalo, NY (Sports Network) - Michael Frolik netted a pair of scores as Florida used a four-goal third period to down Buffalo, 6-2, at HSBC Arena. Rostislav Olesz and Dominic Moore each posted a goal and one assist for the Panthers, who have won three of four. Stephen Weiss and Cory Stillman also tallied while Tomas Vokoun stopped 26 shots for the win. Drew Stafford and Clarke MacArthur tallied for the Sabres, whose three-game win streak came to an end. Ryan Miller was tagged for a season-high five goals on 23 shots in the loss.

Final Score: Dallas 3, Detroit 1

Detroit, MI (Sports Network) - Alex Auld stopped 31-of-32 shots to lead Dallas past Detroit, 3-1, at Joe Louis Arena. Mike Ribeiro, Matt Niskanen and Loui Eriksson lit the lamp for the Stars, who have won two of three. Henrik Zetterberg provided the lone offense for the Red Wings, who saw their three-game win streak snapped. Jimmy Howard took the loss despite making 29 saves.

Final Score: Phoenix 3, Minnesota 2

St. Paul, MN (Sports Network) - Scottie Upshall scored the game-winning goal with 4:39 left in the third period, as the Phoenix Coyotes held on for a 3-2 win over the Minnesota Wild at Xcel Energy Center. Radim Vrbata registered a goal and an assist, while Jim Vandermeer also tallied for the Coyotes, who rebounded from a 4-1 loss against Tampa Bay on Monday. Ilya Bryzgalov turned aside 24-of-26 shots. Antti Miettinen and Andrew Brunette each had a goal and an assist for Minnesota, which has dropped four in a row. Niklas Backstrom finished with 29 saves.

Final Score: Edmonton 6, Colorado 4

Edmonton, AB (Sports Network) - Ales Hemsky picked up a goal and one assist while Patrick O'Sullivan notched the game-winner in the third as Edmonton used a three-goal final period to rally past Colorado, 6-4, at Rexall Place. Sam Gagner and Gilbert Brule also contributed a goal and a helper for the Oilers, who snapped a four-game losing skid. Shawn Horcoff and Ryan Potulny also tallied for Edmonton, which tied a season-high for goals in one contest. Jeff Deslauriers got the win despite stopping only 14-of-18 shots, but picked up his first NHL point with a late assist. Milan Hejduk scored a pair of goals for the Avalanche, who have dropped four of five. David Jones and Kyle Cumiskey also tallied and Peter Budaj took the loss after allowing five scores on 32 shots.

Final Score: Philadelphia 3, Los Angeles 2

Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Brian Boucher stopped 37 shots to post his first victory of the season as Philadelphia withstood a late flurry to top Los Angeles, 3-2, at Staples Center. Mika Pyorala produced his first career goal for the Flyers, who began a five-game road trip by recording their seventh win in eight games. Mike Richards and James van Riemsdyk also scored. Jarret Stoll and Drew Doughty tallied for the Kings, who had won three of four coming in. Jonathan Quick allowed three goals on 20 shots in defeat.
