Toronto Maple Leafs player Joffrey Lupul was trending all over Twitter Wednesday morning. Want to know why?

The 28-year-old player was reportedly a couple key strokes away from being another celebrity/athlete caught in a sticky nude photo situation.

Fans began circulating a screengrab of a conversation he had with a female hockey fan from Pittsburgh under the Twitter handle @Princesss_Sass.

The pair allegedly sent messages back and forth after the young woman displayed a provocative picture stating:

“Hey @JLupul you can't tell me this doesn't peak your interest... #imhot”

Looks like somebody really knew what they were doing …

Lupul had a strong season with the Leafs garnering a spot at the NHL All Star Game after being traded by the Anaheim Ducks in 2011.

Your voice
How are you finding your favourite teams on Rogers new TV package?

Just fine, no problems
I am baffled by all the choices and the different channels
My team is blacked out sometimes
No worries, I have NHL Centre Ice
Doesn't matter, my team sucks
