Jim Matheson has covered hockey for the Edmonton Journal for 30 years, starting with the World Hockey Association in 1972, and now the National Hockey League. He covered the Oilers in their glory days in the 80s and was inducted into the media wing of the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2000.
