Iain MacIntyre joined the The Vancouver Sun in 1990 and has been covering the Vancouver Canucks since the 1991-92 season. His writing has won awards from the B.C. Newspaper Foundation and Professional Hockey Writers' Association, and in 2005 he was promoted to columnist. A native Vancouverite, MacIntyre's chief claims to fame are nicknaming Pavel Bure the Russian Rocket and once scoring five goals in a single road hockey game.
