George Johnson has covered the NHL as a beat writer and columnist for the past three decades, beginning with the Winnipeg Jets, through the Edmonton Oilers and onto the Calgary Flames. He has written hockey for a variety of publications, including the NHL All-Star Game Program and ESPN The Magazine and has collaborated on two books, Quest For The Cup and Hockey Dynasties.
