Dan Barnes has covered the Edmonton Oilers and NHL since 1988 as a beat writer for the Edmonton Sun and columnist with the Edmonton Journal. He has reported from Stanley Cup finals in 1987, 1988, 1990, 2000 and 2006, covered several NHL drafts and all-star games. His work has also appeared in The Hockey News, Beckett's and Faceoff Magazine.
