Damien Cox
Damien Cox has been with The Star since 1985 and has covered the Maple Leafs and the NHL since 1989. He began writing a hockey column in 1996, and won a National Newspaper Award for sportswriting in 1998 for a series on Canadian hockey development. He has attended multiple Olympic games, world hockey events and the Stanley Cup final since 1991, and is the author of two books, "'67: The Maple Leafs, their Sensational Victory and the End of an Empire" and "Brodeur: Beyond the Crease." He is also a regular panelist on TSN's The Reporters and a featured contributor to TSN' s That's Hockey, as well as a weekly contributor to The FAN 590 in Toronto. He has three times been named to The Hockey News list of the "100 People of Power and Influence in Hockey.
