The Philadelphia Flyers playoff run took a hit with news that leading scorer Jeff Carter will miss three-to-four weeks with a fractured left foot.

Carter suffered the injury after blocking a shot against the Atlanta Thrashers on Sunday. The Flyers lost the game 3-1.

The Flyers are currently in a three-way tie for sixth place with the Montreal Canadiens and Ottawa Senators with 79 points in the Eastern Conference
